Henry’s Bagel and Deli is your new neighborhood hangout on Route One in Kittery, Maine — where hand-rolled bagels, stacked sandwiches, and strong coffee come together with a Maine twist. We’re the spot where locals post up for breakfast, travelers swing through for a quick bite, and everyone feels like they belong.
The name “Henry’s” is more than just a name — it’s a thread connecting a few different stories. The building we’re in used to be the old Henry VIII Carvery. Our sister café, The Islander, lives just across the bridge in New Castle, New Hampshire, in the space that was once Henry’s Market. And our other sibling, Lil’s Café, is right down the road in Kittery’s Wallingford Square — a place named after Henry Wallingford, a teenage World War I Veteran.
Henry’s Bagel and Deli is about great food made well, served in a space that feels good to be in. We’re proud to bring a little bit of traditional deli energy and mix it with Maine character. Whether you’re here for a lox bagel, a bacon-egg-and-cheese on a toasted everything, a hearty lunch sandwich, or a pastry to go with your cold brew, we’ve got you covered.
